Kailash Motor Biking Tour - 15 Days

Kailash Motor Biking tour is recently intorduced by Tibet Holidays, The Kailash Motor Biking Tour is an adventurous journey through the Himalayas, taking you to the holy Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar in Tibet. The tour usually starts from Kathmandu, Nepal, and then proceeds towards Tibet via the historic and scenic Friendship Highway. The journey takes you through rugged mountain terrain and remote Tibetan villages, where you can experience the unique Tibetan culture, traditions, and lifestyle. The highlight of the tour is the Kailash Parikrama, a spiritual trek around Mount Kailash that takes you to an altitude of more than 5,000 meters. The trek is considered one of the most challenging and rewarding spiritual journeys in the world and is believed to cleanse one's soul from all sins. The tour usually lasts for around 15 to 21 days and requires a good level of physical fitness, as well as a sturdy and reliable motorbike. It is recommended that you join an organized tour group for safety and support.

Today we have one full day at Kyirong valley, it is a small local border town. Today we will stay one more day here for acclimatization and ride a bit higher toward Milarepa cave to adjust your body to the elevation in order to have comfortable journey toward higher elevation ride.

Today you will have scenic ride through alongside of Pelko Lake to Saga. It is a local Tibetan town. Rest day for Acclimatization.

Today you will have another beutiful ride toward Manasarover by crossing Mayumla Pass one of the highest point during your ride in the region. Evening you could have holy dip at the Manasarover Lake.

Morning after breakfast you will ride up to Chiu Monastery which is situated in the hill side overlooking the lake from where you will explore etire Manasarover Lake, After Lunch you will have ride for Manasarover circumambulation which will give you to have beutiful view of Manasarover and Kailash view differently. After that you will ride up to Darchen for the night halt.

Today you will have a short drive by local bus until Tarboche - 12km, Your personal bike will be left at Darchen as it is not allowed to ride toward the Parikrama (Kailash Circumambulation) area. After that you will have trekking toward Diraphuk, the north face of Kailash.

Today is the toughest day during the Kailsh ride tour as you need to cross Dolma La Pass (5610m) it is highest point, It is gradual ascent and steep decent until Khando Shanglam after that the trail follows being flatter.

Today you could explore Milarepa Cave along the way, Today is short trek around 2-3 hours after that our Local bus will pick you up from Mani Wall and drop to Darchen. After Lunch you will ride way back up to Horchu.

Today you will ride to border immigration point from Kyirong which is 60km far from. After that you will get immigration formalities and check in Nepal side, our representative will assist you to clear all immigration formalities and further ride toward Kathmandu and Evening farewell with crews.

I can define our Tibet Monastery Tour with Tibet Holidays with only three words: fantastic, happy and much kindness. All this due to Pema Tsering, Ngawang (our guide) and Chungda (our driver).
